Muppets Now is The Muppets Studio’s first unscripted series and first original series for Disney+. In the six- episode season, Scooter rushes to make his delivery deadlines and upload the brand-new Muppet series for streaming. They are due now, and he’ll need to navigate whatever obstacles, distractions, and complications the rest of the Muppet gang throws at him.
Overflowing with spontaneous lunacy, surprising guest stars and more frogs, pigs, bears (and whatevers) than legally allowed, the Muppets cut loose in Muppets Now with the kind of startling silliness and chaotic fun that made them famous. From zany experiments with Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker to lifestyle tips from the fabulous Miss Piggy, each episode is packed with hilarious segments, hosted by the Muppets showcasing what the Muppets do best.
Produced by The Muppets Studio and Soapbox Films, Muppets Now premieres Friday, July 31, streaming only on Disney+.
Fraggles Rock On: On April 21, Apple TV+ premiered Fraggle Rock: Rock On!, a short-form series spun-off from the original Fraggle Rock where Gobo and the gang reconnect with each other from different caves.

In March, Sesame Street launched its Caring for Each Other initiative to help and entertain families during the coronavirus pandemic. Last year, Sesame Street celebrated its 50th anniversary and became the first television show to receive the Kennedy Center Honor.
Caroll Spinney (1933-2019): Caroll Spinney, the longtime Muppet performer behind Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch, died on December 8 at the age 85. In the months leading to Sesame Street’s premiere, Spinney was chosen by Jim Henson to portray the two characters he had created to add some fantasy to the street. Spinney would continue to perform his iconic roles in thousands of episodes, multiple television specials, feature films, and guest appearances spanning across five decades. Spinney retired from the show on October 17, 2018, recording his final vocal performances the following day. Muppet Wiki, and the rest of the Muppet fan community, celebrate his life and work.
